01 Apr The Last 10% of The Grace Message

Grace is the true Gospel! It is scandalous, and it is personified in the person of Jesus!

It is the revelation of grace that changed my life and became the framework upon which my understanding and experience rest.

Since we live in a culture that evaluates our worth based on performance and what we do with our lives, the message of grace liberated me and confirmed my identity found solely in Christ and His work!

As Ephesians 2:8-9 (TPT) declares so profoundly,

For it was only through this wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ!

So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.

Yet, this grace message has a part to it that many miss—let’s call it the last 10%:

We have become His poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One.

Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!

The last 10% of grace is the response of grace, the fruit of grace, and the fulfilment of destiny spoken into us that results in a poetic utterance—grace at work in us and through us!

1 Corinthians 15:10
But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me.

Some of us refer to working hard with empowering grace as the Last 10% of the Grace Message.
