As a husband who knows how to do romance well, Jim is madly in love with Carrie, his wife of over 37 years. In 2007, they founded The Intimate Couple website dedicated to helping couples develop the marriage of their dreams!

As a proud and loving father, Jim enthusiastically encourages his children and invests in their success. Jim and Carrie have two daughters, seven sons, and eighteen grandchildren.

As a visionary with a passion for future generations, Jim founded the Elora Road Christian School in 1981 and served as Principal for 20 years, developing students to become tomorrow’s leaders.

As a church builder, since 2002 Jim has served as Lead Pastor at the Elora Road Christian Fellowship, a church that reaches people far from God and develops passionate Jesus followers. His love for people compels him to reach beyond the church walls for hurting or lost people.

As a teacher who still loves learning, Jim communicates Scriptural and life truths with clarity and passion, helping others understand and apply important principles. He has a passion for reading about leadership, apologetics, and theology. His favourite book? The Bible.
